Safer ways to share sensitive information

The web form uses a normal HTTPS relay (e.g. Web3Forms or Formspree). That is convenient but not the same as a dedicated whistleblowing platform.

Before you send anything risky

• Documents can carry hidden metadata (author, device, location). Strip metadata when you can.
• This page is not legal advice. Get counsel if you face criminal, employment, or cross-border risk.
• For maximum anonymity, newsrooms and some nonprofits run SecureDrop or GlobaLeaks — use those when available.

What project maintainers can add later

They can publish a dedicated encrypted email (e.g. Proton Mail), Signal contact, or a partner org’s official tip line — without sending visitors through a code host.
